HOW IT WORKS

A signal becomes
an opportunity.

Property events create context. We connect that context to the right trade, territory and contractor.

  1. 01

    We Monitor

Otsubo monitors selected property and market signals in your territory.

  2. 02

    We Identify

Relevant properties are identified and enriched with useful information.

  3. 03

    We Qualify

Each opportunity is checked against the written territory, trade, source and timing criteria.

  4. 04

    We Route

Opportunities are matched to the agreed trade, territory and contractor capacity.

01

Monitor the events that matter.

Weather, property records, construction activity and relevant local requests help identify where demand may be emerging. Group posts and marketplace listings are research starting points: check the original source, recency and whether the person still needs help.

02

Build the property context.

We connect a relevant signal to a property and research available information, which may include property type, size, ownership and management contacts.

03

Evaluate the fit.

A potential opportunity is assessed for service relevance, location and the information available. A signal indicates a possible need; it is not a promise that the owner wants work performed.

04

Route with intention.

Participation is defined by trade, territory and capacity. Each opportunity is offered to one contractor at a time. Owner or manager contact information is shared only with that person’s permission for the specific contractor.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

The reason behind
the opportunity.

An Opportunity Action Pack gives your team a practical starting point for outreach.

Property details, the triggering event, relevant service information and available ownership or management research belong together. Information varies with the property and source. Owner or manager information is shared only with that person’s permission for the specific contractor.

You bring the trade expertise: confirm the need, speak with the property decision-maker, and determine the appropriate next step.

Suggested call opener

“I’m reaching out about the recent weather near your property. Has anyone assessed the roof since the storm?”

Suggested email

Subject: Roof assessment after recent weather
Hello [owner name], recent weather near [property] may warrant a roof assessment. We serve commercial properties in [area]. Would a conversation about an inspection be useful?

Next action & follow-up

Confirm the decision-maker and offer an assessment within your actual service scope. Record the response and agree a follow-up date. Adapt the draft to verified facts and applicable outreach requirements.

Entirely illustrative, including the event and date. Real packs include the property address, source reference, ownership research, permission-based contact information, outreach guidance and attribution ID. No actual property owner or result is represented here.

COLE COUNTY / COMMERCIAL ROOF APPOINTMENTS

From a signal
to an agreed appointment.

A dedicated service in development for one roofing partner in Cole County and Jefferson City.

  1. 01

    Agree the fit

The partner sets roof types, territory, project preferences and capacity.

  2. 02

    Confirm the need

Reach the owner or authorized manager. Check interest, timing and any existing contractor.

  3. 03

    Get permission

Confirm consent to share contact details with the specific roofing partner.

  4. 04

    Coordinate

Both parties agree to a time. Record access arrangements and track whether the inspection happens.

The contractor confirms inspection scope, availability and any charge before an appointment is set. An inspection is not promised to be free. Research does not establish roof damage or insurance coverage.

THE OTSUBO QUALIFICATION STANDARD

If it does not meet the standard,
it does not count.

Every delivered opportunity must satisfy the written criteria below or it does not count.

01 / Territory & trade

Inside your agreed territory, relevant to your selected trade, with a clear explanation of why the property may need your service.

02 / Source & timing

A defined trigger within the agreed recency window, supported by a verifiable source and event date. Detection and delivery timing are recorded separately.

03 / Property & contact

The property and owner are reasonably identified. Contact details are checked under the agreed verification process and shared only with permission for the specific contractor. Unknowns are disclosed.

04 / No duplicates

No repeat of an opportunity already delivered within the agreed duplicate-exclusion period.

05 / No preexisting work

Customers and opportunities documented as preexisting are excluded under the agreed review process.

06 / Defined routing

Delivery follows your agreed territory and assignment rules. Each opportunity goes to one contractor at a time.

A quality commitment you can check. Before service starts, your written agreement specifies trigger types, timing windows, contact checks, exclusion periods and the claim process. Flag an opportunity with its attribution ID and supporting details; we review it against those criteria and correct or exclude any item that falls short.

Qualification establishes a relevant reason to contact a property owner. It does not confirm damage, consent to outreach, buying intent or a booked appointment.

FOLLOW THE OPPORTUNITY THROUGH THE RESULT
